Another month another release!
We are back with the Third iteration of your favorite custom ROM 404; we call this release MISCUE. With each new version we thrive to provide the best experience to you because we are driven by you! We’ve worked closely with our design team to bring upon the best of the visual experience on your plate. This build also has loads of new features that have been baked in house with added flavors, so they taste the best and blend well with our ecosystem. We’re always open to your feedback and suggestions so make sure you join our community groups and stay in touch, we’ll see you around!
Let’s talk about the new features first!
- We merged the August security patches so that your data stays safe in this online world!
- Quick Settings are the most frequently accessed component of a ROM yet the most boring. Let’s change the trend! Presenting to you all new redesigned QuickSettings panel baked in house to provide the best visual pawn!
- Introducing our original Sammy 404 lockscreen clock, look for it in the styles app! Hope you all will like it.
- Are you also lazy like our Product Manager (devabhi) who feels that reaching for the power button to lock the device is a hard task for fingers? Not an issue, introducing double tap to sleep on the status bar for devabhi (and people alike).
- We got the best of our designers to bring the cutest bootanimation in the fraternity that would make you feel the need to reboot your device again and again! Jokes apart, you’ll love it for sure.
- Added some clean wallpapers to give a makeover to your homescreen.
- Optimized the undercover agents to ensure system stability and reliability.
- You can now turn on the torch by simply long pressing the power button, trust me you needed
that!
- Added a cleaner Finger on Display (F.O.D) animation, because why should eyes have all the
pawn!
- Fixed the volume panel touch issue and improved the layout.
Not so cool but still notable changes!
- Now legacy apps can occupy the full length/width of you fancy 21:9 or 20.5:9 display. - Updated SQLite so that our users can benefit from fast storage speeds.
